Born in 1932 in the City of Allama Lqbal, Faiz Ahmed Faiz and Moulana Ubaidullah Sindhi (Sialkot). In 1947, while Mr. Azad Bin Haider was student of 9th class, he offered himself as a volunteer to work for the rehabilitation of Muhajirs at Wagah, Lahore, and later transferred to Muhajir Camp Karachi. On August 18, 1947, he offered Eid-ul-Fitr prayer at Eidgah Maidan Bunder Road Karachi in the last lines, while Quaid-e-Azam was in the front lines. He completed his education from Matric to M.A LL.B at Karachi as a self-made person.
